Smt.Indira Gandhi was a great leader of india. she was the first woman prime minister of India. she was a great speaker and writer. She was very popular among the masses.
she was born on NOVEMBER 19, 1917 at Allahabad. She was the daughter of
PANDIT JAWAHARLAL NEHRU. Her mother was Kamla Nehru . she got her in in the freedom movement. She got her education in India and abroad. she took an active part in the freedom movement. She was sent to jail. the loved peace'. But sometimes war are nesseccary to defend the nation. India had to fight a war against Pakistan in 1971. We won it under her leadership.
She made india great. She was greatest leader. But unfortunately she was assaistaned by her security gaurds on October 31, 1984. She breathed her last. Her death was mourned all over world.
